The premise of Temple Saint Joan is simple. It’s mantra: Therapeutic self-care ritual designed to restore your connection to what is holy and beautiful in you. Specializing in holistic high-vibration wellness & skincare, customized facials, Dermaplane, body waxing, natural brows and lashes, owner Darcy Karl came to Peel to create a visual identity that’s just as unique as her business. Peel began with establishing the branding and identity of Temple Saint Joan before moving into building TSJ a web presence as well as capturing her brand in it’s truest form.
Temple Saint Joan has three marks that make up the brand. The brand includes a primary logo in addition to two other secondary logos. Darcy wanted something that felt delicate and clean, yet still felt like it had a strong presence.
The most unique part of the TSJ branding system is the use of Darcy’s own handwriting in the primary logo. Because Darcy relies on her hands so much in providing her services, this felt like an intentional and unifying design choice.

Color Palette:
The color palette for Temple Saint Joan found much of it’s inspiration from book covers. Darcy was drawn to the richness of the blue tones while loving the pop of color the lime provided. Darcy’s color palette also utilizes a warm gold gradient that aids in illustrating the luxury she provides her clients.

In addition to creating and designing the Branding & Identity of Temple Saint Joan, Darcy also needed a website in which her clients could learn about her as well as her services. The site then provides direct links to her Vagaro platform for which her clients can book their services or purchase products.
