Well hello there!
Welcome to my world of design!
My name is Hannah and I am the owner of Peel Design Co., a creative boutique based in Minneapolis.
Established in 2020, this creative boutique is the product of my love for designing as well as my eagerness to collaborate creatively with others. Peel Design Co. was built on the notion that if everything in the world has to be designed in one way or another, why not fill it with designs that are, well, uh-peeling.
So what’s with the name? I’m so glad you asked. With a name like "Hannah," it was only right that the long-standing nickname, "Hannah Banana" plays a key role in the naming of my own business. With that, I hope the light bulbs in your head are going off as you smile at the thought of naming a business after a banana. If you know me, you know it's the perfect fit.
If you're here in hopes to get to know a little bit more about me, I'm more than happy to share with you all things "Hannah." First and foremost — why design? Art and design have been a staple in my life since I was a little kid. Growing up, I was always surrounded by creative people who were interested in creative things. Whether it was music, movies, art, or dance, those "creative juices," were established early in my life. Aside from my love for all things art, here are a few more one-off facts about me. When I'm not designing, you can find me on the basketball court cheering on my favorite team in the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves. I have been an NBA Dancer for the last six seasons — three of which I have been the Captain of the team. The dancing doesn't stop there. I also am a member of Shapeshift, a theatrical storytelling dance company based in Minneapolis. Additionally, I love old-school Hip Hop and was raised on the music of some powerful women like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, India.Arie, and Lauryn Hill (thanks mom!) Lastly, I love the color yellow (duh), am an INFJ, was born in January making me an Aquarius, and my top 5 strengths include being Strategic, Empathetic, Achieving, Disciplined, and Deliberative.
